THE ARTS SOCIETY
WOODBRIDGE

A Church Trail is a question sheet that guides children and accompanying adults round a church and encourages them to engage with the architecture, history and furnishings. Arts Society members voluntarily give their time to research and write the questions and corresponding answer sheets. The aim is to encourage 8-12 year olds and their families to learn about the building and inspire them to visit and enjoy other churches.

We handed over the St Andrew’s Church Trail on May 19 2018 the 150th Anniversary Celebratory Eucharist. The Team were kindly invited to the lunch afterwards. We have received a very complimentary thank you note from the PCC and it is planned that Melton Primary school will take part in an official launch. We have embarked on our 4th Trail at St Mary’s in Ufford and are making progress there. Christine Bull is joining as a new member, bringing multiple skills.
